Community Guidelines
Helping Australians is our passion. Unetwork is an online service that quickly and easily connects your business with carefully selected professional candidates or a specific services provider depending on your particular needs
As Unetwork continues to grow it’s important that the community follows guidelines that reflect our values and standards of behaviour. If you suspect a member has violated any Community Guidelines, please report it to Unetwork as soon as possible.
This section will continue to change as we grow and continue to think about what’s best for the Unetwork community.
Job posting guidelines
To create a safe, respectful and rewarding environment, we need you to follow the Guidelines below:
Jobs must be legal
To ensure a safe and secure experience for all our members, all Jobs posted must be legal. Soliciting, inducing or encouraging illegal acts are strictly prohibited. Scams are also not tolerated on Unetwork and will be removed.
Prohibited items list
Jobs must not relate to weapons or unlawful activity, which may result in furtherance of a crime. Any requests relating to drugs, including prescription drugs or drug paraphernalia is prohibited. Not only may these activities have serious legal ramifications, but they are also against the spirit and values of Unetwork.
No escort or adult services
Escort, adult services and massage Jobs are strictly prohibited on Unetwork. This includes Jobs or comments which are obscene or sexually explicit in nature. Whilst we are pushing boundaries and helping to reimagine the future of employment, we draw the line here.
Task based posts
At Unetwork jobs that are deceitful in nature are not allowed. This includes but is not limited to requesting fake business reviews, social media likes and follows.
Academic activities and assignment based Jobs are strictly prohibited. This includes but is not limited to completing an assignment, test or course on someone’s behalf. Additionally, academic assistance in the form of proofreading, editing, planning, structuring, referencing and giving feedback on someone else’s academic work is also not supported.
We don’t allow Jobs that request quotes for work to be done outside of Unetwork.
Jobs that require someone to be nude, topless or wear clothing like lingerie, swimwear and gym wear are not supported.
Jobs that involve investigating or gathering information on an individual or business without their knowledge and consent are not supported. Debt collection Jobs are also not supported.
Jobs that ask for someone to withdraw cash, buy gift cards, vouchers for the Poster or to send money to the Poster via methods like direct bank transfers or PayPal are not supported.
No advertising
We support businesses outsourcing Jobs on Unetwork to help their business grow, however Unetwork is not a platform for business advertisements, nor a job board for permanent job ads. Unetwork is also not a platform for any requests to be employed.
No alcohol related Jobs
Alcohol related Jobs regarding the supply or sale of alcohol are strictly prohibited on Unetwork.
Unacceptable behaviours
Community is at the heart of what we do at Unetwork. Courtesy, mutual respect and seeing things from another person’s perspective is essential.
Account eligibility
We know you’re eager to set up an account and get started on Unetwork, but we need you to make sure you qualify for the below:
18 years or older
All members of the Unetwork community must be 18 years or older. This is a legal requirement as people under the age of 18 are not able to enter a legal contract with Unetwork. Unetwork reserves the right to request proof of age should this be necessary.
Account administration
Your account is your responsibility and you must maintain control of it. It must not be transferred to another person as your account and reviews reflect your skills and abilities.
Members may only have a single, active account on the platform. As your account reflects your reputation in the marketplace and represents your skills and abilities, any duplicate accounts attempting to disguise a member’s history, will be removed immediately. This means that all content posted by additional accounts will be removed and any associated Job contracts will be cancelled.
Identity on Unetwork
Unetwork is committed to building a community platform that is a positive and safe environment for all.
Your real name as confirmed by your identification documents (passport, drivers licence etc).

Terms and Conditions
The Unetwork terms & conditions (updated August 2020) outline Unetwork’s and Your obligations and responsibilities on the Unetwork Platform.
User Agreement: www.Unetwork.com
Unetwork operates an online platform allowing Users to connect through the Unetwork Platform with other Users who provide Services.
Please read these terms and all Policies including the Community Guidelines carefully before using the Unetwork Platform. These Policies are incorporated into this Agreement by reference.
All defined terms in this Agreement have the meaning given to them in the Unetwork Glossary.
- SCOPE OF UNETWORK SERVICES
1.1 Unetwork provides the Unetwork Platform to enable Posters to publish and connect with Posted Jobs.
1.2 Unetwork members may make an Offer in response to a Posted Job. Some parts of Offer details may be made publicly available, including to internet users who are not Users.
1.3 A Poster may revoke or modify a Posted Job at any time before he/she accepts an Offer. Unetwork reserves the right to cancel all Offers on a Posted Job made prior to the modification.
1.4 If a Poster accepts an Offer on the Unetwork Platform, a Job Contract is created between the Worker and the Poster.
1.5 Once the Services are complete, the Worker must provide notice of that to the Unetwork team.

- UNETWORK’S ROLE AND OBLIGATIONS
2.1 Unetwork provides the Unetwork Platform only, enabling Users to publish Posted Jobs and make Offers on Posted Jobs.
2.2 Unetwork only permits individuals over 18 years of age to become Users.
2.3 Users might be natural persons, but can specify within their account description that they represent a business entity.
2.4 At its absolute discretion, Unetwork may refuse to allow any person to register or create an account with Unetwork or cancel or suspend or modify any existing account including if Unetwork reasonably forms the view that a User’s conduct (including a breach of this Agreement) is detrimental to the operation of the Unetwork Platform.
2.5 Registering and creating an account with Unetwork is free. There is no charge for a Poster to post jobs, or for other Unetwork Users to review content on the Unetwork Platform, including Posted Jobs.
2.6 Unetwork accepts no liability for any aspect of the Poster and Worker interaction, including but not limited to the description, performance or delivery of Services.
2.7 Unetwork has no responsibility and makes no warranty as to the truth or accuracy of any aspect of any information provided by Users, including, but not limited to, the ability of Unetwork members to perform jobs or supply items, or the honesty or accuracy of any information provided by Posters or the Posters’ ability to pay for the Services requested.
2.8 Except for liability in relation to any Non-excludable Condition, the Unetwork Service is provided on an “as is” basis, and without any warranty or condition, express or implied. To the extent permitted by law, we and our suppliers specifically disclaim any implied warranties of title, merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement.
2.9 Unetwork has no obligation to any User to assist or involve itself in any dispute between Users, although may do so to improve User experience.
- USER OBLIGATIONS
3.1 You will at all times:
(a) comply with this Agreement (including all Policies) and all applicable laws and regulations;
(b) only post accurate information on the Unetwork Platform;
(c) ensure that You are aware of any laws that apply to You as a Poster or Worker, or in relation to using the Unetwork Platform.
3.2 You agree that any content (whether provided by Unetwork, a User or a third party) on the Unetwork Platform may not be used on third party sites or for other business purposes without Unetwork’s prior permission.
3.3 You must not use the Unetwork Platform for any illegal or immoral purpose.
3.4 You must maintain control of Your Unetwork account at all times. This includes not allowing others to use Your account, or by transferring or selling Your account or any of its content to another person. You are responsible for any interaction your account has.
3.5 You grant Unetwork an unrestricted, worldwide, royalty-free licence to use, reproduce, modify and adapt any content and information posted on the Unetwork Platform for the purpose of publishing material on the Unetwork Platform and as otherwise may be required to provide the Unetwork Service, for the general promotion of the Unetwork Service, and as permitted by this Agreement.
3.6 You agree that any information posted on the Unetwork Platform must not, in any way whatsoever, be potentially or actually harmful to Unetwork or any other person. Harm includes, but is not limited to, economic loss that will or may be suffered by Unetwork.
3.7 Without limiting any provision of this Agreement, any information You supply to Unetwork or publish in a Posted Job (including as part of an Offer) must be up to date and kept up to date and must not:
*(a) be false, inaccurate or misleading or deceptive;
*(b) be fraudulent or involve the sale of counterfeit or stolen items;
*(c) infringe any third party’s copyright, patent, trademark, trade secret or other proprietary rights or intellectual property rights, rights of publicity, confidentiality or privacy;
*(d) violate any applicable law, statute, ordinance or regulation (including, but not limited to, those governing export and import control, consumer protection, unfair competition, criminal law, antidiscrimination and trade practices/fair trading laws);
*(e) be defamatory, libellous, threatening or harassing;
*(f) be obscene or contain any material that, in Unetwork’s sole and absolute discretion, is in any way inappropriate or unlawful, including, but not limited to obscene, inappropriate or unlawful images; or
*(g) contain any malicious code, data or set of instructions that intentionally or unintentionally causes harm or subverts the intended function of any Unetwork Platform, including, but not limited to viruses, trojan horses, worms, time bombs, cancelbots, easter eggs or other computer programming routines that may damage, modify, delete, detrimentally interfere with, surreptitiously intercept, access without authority or expropriate any system, data or Personal Information.
3.8 Unetwork Platform may from time to time engage location-based or map-based functionality. The Unetwork Platform may display the location of Posters and Unetwork members to persons browsing the Unetwork Platform. A Poster should never disclose personal details such as the Poster’s full name, street number, phone number or email address in a Posted Job or in any other public communication on the Unetwork Platform.
3.9 If You are a Worker, You must have the right to provide Services under a Job Contract and to work in the jurisdiction where the Services are performed. You must comply with tax and regulatory obligations in relation to any payment (including Worker Funds) received under a Job Contract.
3.10 You must not, when supplying Services, charge a Poster any fees on top of the Worker Funds. However, the parties to a Job Contract may agree to amend the Agreed Price through the Unetwork Platform.
3.11 You must not request payments outside of the Unetwork Platform from the Poster for the Services except to the extent permitted by clause 3.12 and only if the Unetwork Platform does not facilitate the reimbursement via the Payment Account of costs considered in clause 3.12.
3.12 If a Worker agrees to pay some costs of completing the Services (such as equipment to complete the Services), the Worker is solely responsible for obtaining any reimbursement from the Poster. Unetwork advises Unetwork members not to agree to incur costs in advance of receiving the payment for these costs, unless the Worker is confident the Poster will reimburse the costs promptly.
3.13 For the proper operation of the Unetwork Platform (including insurance, proper pricing and compliance with Policies), the Worker must ensure that, if it subcontracts any part of the performance of the Services to a third party in accordance with a Job Contract, then that third party must also be a registered User of the Unetwork Platform.
3.14 If Unetwork determines at its sole discretion that You have breached any obligation under this clause 3 or that You have breached one or more Job Contracts, it reserves the rights to remove any content, Posted Job or Offer You have submitted to the Unetwork Service or cancel or suspend Your account and/or any Job Contracts.
- FEES
4.1 Fees do not include any fees that may be due to Third Party Service providers. All Third Party Service providers are paid pursuant to a User’s separate agreement with that Third Party Service provider.
4.2 All Fees and charges payable to Unetwork are non-cancellable and non-refundable, save for Your rights under any Non-Excludable Conditions.
4.3 If Unetwork introduces a new service on the Unetwork Platform, the Fees applying to that service will be payable as from the launch of the service.
4.4 Unetwork may set-off any Fees against any Worker Funds or other amounts held by Unetwork on behalf of a User.
4.5 Unetwork may restrict a User’s account until all Fees have been paid.
- PAYMENTS AND REFUNDS
5.1 Cancellation of a Job Contract will be attributable to the Worker where:
(a) the Poster and the Worker mutually agree to cancel the Job Contract; or
(b) following reasonable but unsuccessful attempts by a Poster to contact a Worker to perform the Job Contract, the Job Contract is cancelled by the Poster; or
(c) the Worker cancels the Job Contract; or
(d) a Job Contract is cancelled in accordance with clause 3.14 as a result of the Worker’s actions or breach.
5.6 A Cancellation of a Job Contract will be attributable to a Poster where:
(a) the Poster cancels the Job Contract (other than in accordance with clause 5.5(b); or
(b) a Job Contract is cancelled in accordance with clause 3.14 as a result of the Poster’s actions or breach..
5.2 If the parties agree to any additional cancellation fee payable under the Job Contract, it is the responsibility of the party aggrieved to claim any amount owed directly from the other.
- BUSINESS PARTNERS
6.1 Unetwork may enter into agreements with Business Partners and may seek to engage Unetwork members in the provision of Business Services. Unetwork members who agree to perform Business Services for Business Partners acknowledge and agree that Unetwork and the Business Partner may on-sell Services supplied to third parties for an increased fee.
6.2 Business Partners may require Unetwork members providing Business Services to be approved or hold particular qualifications. Unetwork may assist Business Partners to locate suitably qualified Unetwork members. Unetwork makes no warranty that it will promote any or all suitably qualified Unetwork members to Business Partners.
6.3 Business Partners may require Unetwork members to enter into a Business Partner Contract before providing Business Services.
6.4 Where a Worker accepts a Posted Job with a Business Partner:
(a) the Worker must provide Business Services to the Business Partner in accordance with the Job Contract and any applicable Business Partner Contract; and
(b) the terms of the Business Partner Contract will prevail to the extent of any inconsistency.
- THIRD PARTY SERVICES
7.1 Unetwork may from time to time include Third Party Services on the Unetwork Platform. These Third Party Services are not provided by Unetwork.
7.2 Third Party Services are offered to Users pursuant to the third party’s terms and conditions. Third Party Services may be promoted on the Unetwork Platform as a convenience to our Users who may find the Third Party Services of interest or of use.
7.3 If a User engages with any Third Party Service provider, the agreement will be directly between the User and that Third Party Service provider.
7.4 Unetwork makes no representation or warranty as to the Third Party Services. However, to help us continue to improve our Unetwork Platform, Users may inform Unetwork of their Third Party Service experience here.
- VERIFICATION & BADGES
8.1 Unetwork may use Identity Verification Services.
8.2 You agree that Unetwork Identity Verification Services may not be fully accurate as all Unetwork Services are dependent on User-supplied information and/or information or Verification Services provided by third parties.
8.3 You are solely responsible for identity verification and Unetwork accepts no responsibility for any use that is made of an Unetwork Identity Verification Service.
8.4 Unetwork Identity Verification Services may be modified at any time.
8.5 The Unetwork Platform may also include a User-initiated feedback system to help evaluate Users.
8.6 Unetwork may make Badges available to Unetwork members. The available Badge can be requested by the Worker via the Unetwork Platform, and arranged on behalf of the Worker and issued by Unetwork, for a fee. Obtaining Badges may be conditional upon the provision of certain information or documentation by the Worker and determined by Unetwork or a third party verifier which shall be governed by its terms.
8.7 You acknowledge that Badges are point in time checks and may not be accurate at the time it is displayed. You acknowledge that to the extent You relied on a Badge in entering into a Job Contract, you do so aware of this limitation. You should seek to verify any Badge with the Worker prior to commencing the job.
8.8 It remains the Worker’s responsibility to ensure that information or documentation it provides in obtaining a Badge is true and accurate and must inform Unetwork immediately if a Badge is no longer valid.
8.9 Unetwork may, at its discretion, issue Badges to Unetwork members for a fee.
8.10 The issue of a Badge to a Worker remains in the control of Unetwork and the display and use of a Badge is licensed to the Worker for use on the Unetwork Platform only. Any verification obtained as a result of the issue of a Badge may not be used for any other purpose outside of the Unetwork Platform.
8.11 Unetwork retains the discretion and right to not issue, or remove without notice, a Badge if You are in breach of any of the terms of this Agreement, the Badge has been issued incorrectly, obtained falsely, has expired, is no longer valid or for any other reason requiring its removal by Unetwork.
- INSURANCE
9.1 Unetwork may offer its Users an opportunity to obtain insurance for certain Job Contracts. All such insurance will be offered by a third party. Any application and terms and conditions for such third party insurance will be displayed on the Unetwork website when they are available. Unetwork confirms that all insurance policies are Third Party Services and governed by further terms set out for Third Party Services.
9.2 Unetwork does not represent that any insurance it acquires or which is offered via the Unetwork Platform is adequate or appropriate for any particular User.
9.3 Each User must make its own enquiries about whether any further insurance is required and Unetwork members remain responsible for ensuring that they have, and maintain, sufficient insurance to cover the Services provided to other Users of the Unetwork Platform.
9.4 Unetwork may also take out other insurance itself and that insurance may at Unetwork’s option extend some types of cover to Users. Unetwork reserves the right to change the terms of its insurance policies with the third party insurance providers at any time. A summary of the policies are available on the Unetwork website and the policy details can be requested via Unetwork. Users are responsible for familiarising themselves with these details.
9.5 You acknowledge and agree that in the event that a claim is made relating to any services performed and/or goods provided by a Worker, Unetwork will not be responsible nor liable for any claim between the parties.
9.6 You acknowledge and agree that in the event that a claim is made relating to any services performed and/or goods provided by a Worker, and the insurance taken out by Unetwork (if any) does not respond to the claim or the claim is below the excess payable to the insurer, then this clause applies. Unetwork may elect to reject an amount to settle a claim not covered by Unetwork’s own insurance policies. To the extent that the Worker was or would be liable for the amount of the claim. Unetwork may also elect to set this amount off against future moneys it may owe to the Worker.
- FEEDBACK
10.1 Unetwork is entitled to suspend or terminate Your account at any time if Unetwork, in its sole and absolute discretion, is concerned by any feedback about You, or considers Your feedback rating to be problematic for other Unetwork Users.
- PRIVACY
11.1 Third Party Service providers will provide their service pursuant to their own Privacy Policy. Prior to acceptance of any service from a third party, You must review and agree to their terms of service including their privacy policy.
11.2 Unetwork will endeavour to permit you to transact anonymously on the Unetwork Platform. However in order to ensure Unetwork can reduce the incidence of fraud and other behaviour in breach of the Community Guidelines, Unetwork reserves the right to ask Users to verify themselves in order to remain a User.
- MODIFICATIONS TO THE AGREEMENT
12.1 Unetwork may modify this Agreement or the Policies (and update the Unetwork pages on which they are displayed) from time to time. Unetwork will send notification of such modifications to Your Unetwork account or advise You the next time You login.
12.2 When You actively agree to amended terms (for example, by clicking a button saying “I accept”) or use the Unetwork Platform in any manner, including engaging in any acts in connection with a Job Contract, the amended terms will be effective immediately.
12.3 If You do not agree with any changes to this Agreement (or any of our Policies), You must either terminate your account or You must notify Unetwork who will terminate Your Unetwork account, and stop using the Unetwork Service.
- NO AGENCY
13.1 No agency, partnership, joint venture, employee-employer or other similar relationship is created by this Agreement. In particular You have no authority to bind Unetwork, its related entities or affiliates in any way whatsoever. Unetwork confirms that all Third Party Services that may be promoted on the Unetwork Platform are provided solely by such Third Party Service providers. To the extent permitted by law, Unetwork specifically disclaims all liability for any loss or damage incurred by You in any manner due to the performance or non-performance of such Third Party Service.
- NOTICES
14.1 Except as stated otherwise, any notices must be given by registered ordinary post or by email, either to Unetwork’s contact address as displayed on the Unetwork Platform, or to Unetwork Users’ contact address as provided at registration. Any notice shall be deemed given:
(a) if sent by email, 24 hours after email is sent, unless the User is notified that the email address is invalid or the email is undeliverable, and
(b) if sent by pre-paid post, three Business Days after the date of posting, or on the seventh Business Day after the date of posting if sent to or posted from outside the jurisdiction in which You have Your Unetwork Platform account.
14.2 Notices related to performance of any Third Party Service must be delivered to such third party as set out in the Third Party Service provider’s terms and conditions.
- MEDIATION AND DISPUTE RESOLUTION
15.1 Unetwork encourages You to try and resolve disputes (including claims for returns or refunds) with other Users directly. Accordingly, You acknowledge and agree that Unetwork may, in its absolute discretion, provide Your information as it decides is suitable to other parties involved in the dispute.
15.2 If a dispute arises with another User, You must co-operate with the other User and make a genuine attempt to resolve the dispute.
15.3 Unetwork may elect to assist Users resolve disputes. Any User may refer a dispute to Unetwork. You must co-operate with any investigation undertaken by Unetwork. Unetwork reserves the right to make a final determination (acting reasonably) based on the information supplied by the Users and direct the Payment Provider to make payment accordingly. You may raise your dispute with the other User or Unetwork’s determination in an applicable court or tribunal.
15.4 Unetwork may provide access to a Third Party Dispute Service. If such a service is provided, either party may request the other party to submit to the Third Party Dispute Service if the parties have failed to resolve the dispute directly. Terms and conditions for the Third Party Dispute Service will be available on request. The Third Party Dispute Service is a Third Party Service and Users are responsible for paying any costs associated with the Third Party Dispute Service in accordance with the Third Party Dispute Service terms and conditions. Unetwork will not be responsible for any payment or financial responsibility.
15.5 Disputes with any Third Party Service provider must proceed pursuant to any dispute resolution process set out in the terms of service of the Third Party Service provider.
15.6 If You have a complaint about the Unetwork Service please contact us by email.
15.7 If Unetwork provides information about other Users to You for the purposes of resolving disputes under this clause, You acknowledge and agree that such information will be used only for the purpose of resolving the dispute and that you will be responsible and liable to Unetwork for any costs, losses or liabilities incurred by Unetwork in relation to any claims relating to any other use of information not permitted by this Agreement.
- TERMINATION
16.1 Either You or Unetwork may terminate your account and this Agreement at any time for any reason.
16.2 Termination of this Agreement does not affect any Job Contract that has been formed between Unetwork Users.
16.3 Third Party Services are conditional upon, and governed by, Third Party Service provider terms and conditions.
16.4 Fees , Limitation of Liability, Mediation and Dispute Resolution and any other terms which by their nature should continue to apply, will survive any termination or expiration of this Agreement.
16.5 If Your account or this Agreement are terminated for any reason then You may not without Unetwork’s consent (in its absolute discretion) create any further accounts with Unetwork and we may terminate any other accounts You operate.
- GENERAL
17.1 This Agreement is governed by the laws specified in Australia’s Specific Terms.
17.2 The provisions of this Agreement are severable, and if any provision of this Agreement is held to be invalid or unenforceable, such provision may be removed and the remaining provisions will be enforceable.
17.3 This Agreement may be assigned or novated by Unetwork to a third party without your consent. In the event of an assignment or novation the User will remain bound by this Agreement.
17.4 This Agreement sets out the entire understanding and agreement between the User and Unetwork with respect to its subject matter.

APPENDIX A:
MODEL JOB CONTRACT
The terms used in this Job Contract have the meaning set out in the Unetwork Glossary. A Job Contract is created in accordance with the Unetwork Agreement. Unless otherwise agreed, the Poster and the Worker enter into a Job Contract on the following terms:
1 COMMENCEMENT DATE AND TERM
1.1 The Job Contract is created when the Poster accepts the Worker’s Offer on a Posted Job to provide Services.
1.2 The Contract will continue until terminated in accordance with clause 5.
2 SERVICES
2.1 The Worker will perform Services in a proper and workmanlike manner.
2.2 The Worker must perform the Services at the time and location agreed.
2.3 The parties must perform their obligations in accordance with any other terms or conditions agreed by the parties during or subsequent to the creation of the Job Contract.
2.4 The parties acknowledge that the Job Contract is one of personal service where the Poster selected the Worker to perform the Services. Therefore the Worker must not subcontract any part of the Services to any third party without the Poster’s consent.
2.5 The Worker remains responsible and liable at all times to the Poster for any acts or omissions of a subcontractor as if those acts or omissions had been made by the Worker.
3 WARRANTIES
3.1 Each party warrants that the information provided in the acceptance of the job is true and accurate.
3.2 The Worker warrants that they have (and any subcontractor has) the right to work and provide Services and hold all relevant licences in the jurisdiction where the Services are performed.
4 LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
4.1 Except for liability in relation to a breach of a Non-excludable Condition, the parties exclude all Consequential Loss arising out of or in connection to the Services, and any claims by any third person, or the Job Contract, even if the party causing the breach knew the loss was possible or the loss was otherwise foreseeable.
4.2 Subject to any insurance or agreement to the contrary, the liability of each party to the other except for a breach of any Non-Excludable Condition is capped at the Agreed Price.
5 DISPUTES
5.1 If a dispute arises between the parties, the parties will attempt to resolve the dispute within 14 days by informal negotiation (by phone, email or otherwise).
6 TERMINATION OF CONTRACT
The Job Contract will terminate when:
(a) the Services are completed and the Agreed Price is released from the Payment Account;
(b) a party is terminated or suspended from the Unetwork Platform, at the election of the other party;
(c) otherwise agreed by the parties or the Third Party Dispute Service; or
(d) notified by Unetwork in accordance with the party’s Unetwork Agreement.

8 GOVERNING LAW
The Job Contract is governed by the laws of the jurisdiction where the Posted Job was posted on the Unetwork Platform.

APPENDIX B:
- Australian Terms
If You are a User who has Your Unetwork Platform account in (or the Services are performed in) Australia then the following terms will also apply to or may vary this Agreement to the extent specified:
- a) a reference to A$, $A, dollar or $ is to Australian currency;
- b) “Unetwork” means Unetwork Pty Ltd;
- c) “ACL” means the Australian Consumer Law;
- d) “Consumer Guarantees” means the consumer guarantees contained in Part 3-2 of the ACL;
- e) “Personal Information” has the same meaning given to it in the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth);
- f) The exclusions and limitations of liability shall be as follows:
(1) Except for liability in relation to breach of Non-excludable Condition, to the extent permitted by law, Unetwork specifically disclaims all liability for any loss or damage (actual, special, direct, indirect and consequential) of every kind and nature, known and unknown, suspected and unsuspected, disclosed and undisclosed (including, without limitation, loss or damage relating to any inaccuracy of information provided, or the lack of fitness for purpose of any goods or service supplied), arising out of or in any way connected with any transaction between Posters and Unetwork members.
(2) Except for liability in relation to a breach of any Non-excludable Condition, to the extent permitted by law, Unetwork specifically disclaims all liability for any loss or damage (actual, special, direct, indirect and consequential) of every kind and nature, known and unknown, suspected and unsuspected, disclosed and undisclosed (including, without limitation, loss or damage relating to any inaccuracy of information provided, or the lack of fitness for purpose of any goods or service supplied), arising out of or in any way connected with any transaction between You and any Third Party Service provider who may be included from time to time on the Unetwork Platform.
(3) Except for liability in relation to a breach of any Non-excludable Condition, and to the extent permitted by law, Unetwork is not liable for any Consequential Loss arising out of or in any way connected with the Unetwork Services.
(4) Except for liability in relation to a breach of any Non-excludable Condition, Unetwork’s liability to any User of the Unetwork Service is limited to the total amount of payment made by that User to Unetwork during the twelve month period prior to any incident causing liability of Unetwork, or AUD$50.00, whichever is greater.
(5) Unetwork’s liability to You for a breach of any Non-excludable Condition (other than a Non-excludable Condition that by law cannot be limited) is limited, at our option to any one of resupplying, replacing or repairing, or paying the cost of resupplying, replacing or repairing goods in respect of which the breach occurred, or supplying again or paying the cost of supplying again, services in respect of which the breach occurred.
Unetwork Glossary
“Agreement” means the most updated version of the agreement between Unetwork and a User.
“Agreed Price” means agreed price for Services (including any variation) paid into the Payment Account made by the Poster but does not include any costs incurred by the Worker when completing Services which the Poster agrees to reimburse.
“Unetwork” means “we” “us” “our” means the legal entity prescribed in Your Country Specific Terms.
“Unetwork Badge” means a badge that may be issued to a User based on the User meeting certain qualifications or other thresholds, including Verification Icons, as determined and set by Unetwork.
“Unetwork Platform” means the Unetwork website at https://www.Unetwork.com.au/, Unetwork smartphone app, and any other affiliated platform that may be introduced from time to time.
“Unetwork Service” means the service of providing the Unetwork Platform.
“Badge” means an Unetwork Badge and Verification Icon.
“Business Day” means a day on which banks are open for general business in the jurisdiction where Users have their Unetwork Platform account, other than a Saturday, Sunday or public holiday.
“Business Partner Contract” means a contract between a Business Partner and a Worker to perform Business Services.
“Business Partner” means the business or individual that enters into an agreement with Unetwork to acquire Business Services.
“Business Services” means Services provided by a Worker to a Business Partner acquired for the purpose of on selling to a third party (such as the Business Partner’s customer).
“Cancellation Admin Fee” means the Fee payable by a Poster or a Worker for cancelling a Job Contract and will not exceed 22% of the Agreed Price.
“Consequential Loss” means any loss, damage or expense recoverable at law:
(a) other than a loss, damage or expense that would be suffered or incurred by any person in a similar situation to the person suffering or incurring the loss, damage or expense; or
(b) which is a loss of:
- opportunity or goodwill;
- profits, anticipated savings or business;
- data; or
- value of any equipment,
and any costs or expenses incurred in connection with the foregoing.
“Fees” means all fees payable to Unetwork by Users including the Service Fee.
“Identity Verification Services” means the tools available to help Users verify the identity, qualifications or skills of other Users including mobile phone verification, verification of payment information, References, integration with social media, Unetwork Badges and Verification Icons.
“Instant Claim” means the acceptance of an Offer by a Worker via the Search Assist function.
“Marketing Material” means any updates, news and special offers in relation to Unetwork or its Third Party Services.
“Non-excludable Condition” means any implied condition, warranty or guarantee in a contract, the exclusion of which would contravene the law or cause any part of the contract to be void.
“Occurrence” means each individual occurrence of services to be performed by a Worker that form part of Recurring Services.
“Offer” means an offer made by a Worker in response to a Posted Job to perform the Services. or an offer made by a Poster for the performance of Services by a Worker when using Search Assist
“Payment Account” means the account operated by the Payment Provider.
“Payment Provider” means an entity appointed by Unetwork that manages and operates the Payment Account including accepting payments from and making payments to Users.
“Personal Information” has the same meaning as described in Your Country Specific Terms.
“Policies” means the policies posted by Unetwork on the Unetwork Platform, including but not limited to the Community Guidelines.
“Poster” means a User that posts on the Unetwork Platform in search of particular Services.
“Posted Job” means the Poster’s request for Services published on the Platform (including via Search Assist), and includes the deadline for completion, price and description of the Services to be provided.
“Poster Service Fee” means the fee payable by the Poster to Unetwork as consideration for the Unetwork Services (and comprised as part of the Agreed Price) displayed to a Poster prior to entering into each Job Contract
“Recurring Services” means the same services procured by a Poster using the Search Assist feature from the same Worker on a recurring basis, for example weekly, fortnightly or monthly.
“Reference” means a feature allowing a User to request other Users to post a reference on the Unetwork Platform endorsing that User.
“Search Assist” means a feature of the Unetwork Platform whereby a Poster can submit specific details of a Posted Job with Unetwork’s assistance to calculate the Agreed Price and find potential Unetwork members to perform the Services. This may also be referred to on the Unetwork Platform as “Instant Booking”.
“Service Fee” means the Poster Service Fee and the Worker Service Fee.
“Services” means the services to be rendered as described in the Posted Job, including any variations or amendments agreed before or subsequent to the creation of a Job Contract and for Recurring Services the Services are the services to be performed under each Occurrence.
“Stored Value” means the physical or virtual card, coupon, voucher or code containing credit or a discount or refund provided as credit or anything else identified or described as ‘Stored Value’ in this Agreement, for use on the Unetwork Platform.
“Job Contract” means the separate contract which is formed between a Poster and a Worker for Services. In the absence of, or in addition to, any terms specifically agreed, the model terms of which are included in Appendix A to the Agreement apply to Job Contracts.
“Worker” means a User who provides Services to Posters.
“Worker Funds” means the Agreed Price less the Service Fee.
“Worker Service Fee” means the fee payable by the Worker to Unetwork as consideration for the Unetwork Services (and comprised as part of the Agreed Price) displayed to a Worker prior to entering into each Job Contract.
“Third Party Dispute Service” means a third party dispute resolution service provider used to resolve any disputes between Users.
“Third Party Service” means the promotions and links to services offered by third parties as may be featured on the Unetwork Platform from time to time.
“User” or “You” means the person who has signed up to use the Unetwork Platform, whether as the Poster, Worker, or otherwise.
“Verification Icons” means the icons available to be displayed on a User’s profile and any such posts on the Unetwork Platform to confirm details such as a User’s qualification, license, certificate or other skill.
Rules of Interpretation:
In the Unetwork Agreement and all Policies, except where the context otherwise requires:
(a) the singular includes the plural and vice versa, and a gender includes other genders;
(b) another grammatical form of a defined word or expression has a corresponding meaning;
(c) a reference to a document or instrument includes the document or instrument as novated, altered, supplemented or replaced from time to time;
(d) the applicable currency shall be the currency specified in Your Country Specific Terms;
(e) a reference to a person includes a natural person, partnership, body corporate, association, governmental or local authority or agency or other entity;
(f) a reference to a statute, ordinance, code or other law includes regulations and other instruments under it and consolidations, amendments, re-enactments or replacements of any of them;
(g) the meaning of general words is not limited by specific examples introduced by including, for example or similar expressions;
(h) headings are for ease of reference only and do not affect interpretation;
(i) any agreement, representation, warranty or indemnity in favour of two or more parties (including where two or more persons are included in the same defined term) is for the benefit of them jointly and severally; and
(j) a rule of construction does not apply to the disadvantage of a party because the party was responsible for the preparation of this agreement or any part of it.

Privacy policy
Unetwork manages the information that we collect when you voluntarily provide it to us in accordance with all applicable privacy legislation. In this Policy, Unetwork means
This Privacy Policy describes how Unetwork handles your personal data, and sets out the rights and obligations that both you and Unetwork have in relation to your voluntarily provided personal data.
By accessing www.Unetwork.com.au or our mobile application (together, the “Services”) you accept and agree to the terms and conditions of Unetwork’s user agreement (“User Agreement”), and acknowledge that your personal data will be collected, used and disclosed in accordance with this Privacy Policy. Except for any terms that are defined in this Privacy Policy then all other defined terms shall have the same meaning as that defined in the User Agreement. Note that under Unetwork’s terms and conditions of use, you must not use the Services if you are not agree providing your personal data for us to share with third parties or you are under 18 years old.
Unetwork may, from time to time, modify this Privacy Policy (and update the web page on which it is displayed). Unetwork will send notification of any material modification to your Unetwork account and/or your registered email address. You should check that account regularly.
- Collection of Your Personal Data
Unetwork collects personal data when you pre-register with Unetwork. This includes your full name, email address and location. In circumstances where the below information is not provided to us we may be unable to provide our services to you and carry out our contractual obligations with you.
Information we collect directly from you
Unetwork collects personal data when you register with Unetwork. This may include:
- your name, address, email address, phone number and other contact details;
- your birth date and gender;
- your credit card and account details;
- your location and the location where you are interested in performing jobs; and
- your occupation, work experience, resume, qualifications, education, post jobs, earn money preferences, skillset, interests and other information relevant for your fitness for jobs.
We also give you the option of providing a photo or video to be associated with your Unetwork user ID. If your personal details change, it is your responsibility to update your Unetwork account with those changes, so that we can keep our records complete, accurate and up to date.
To enable us to improve our existing services and to create new service features, Unetwork collects information about the way you use our services.
Information we collect automatically when you use our Services
Unetwork may also receive and record the following information from your internet browser and computer, including through cookies and similar technologies, when you use our Services:
- Computer and connection information such as statistics on page views, traffic to and from our Services, referral URL, IP address, unique device ID, browsing history and web log information;
- Information about your use of our Services, including the date and time you visit our Services, the areas or pages that you visit, the amount of time you spend viewing or using the Services, the number of times you return to the Services, other clickstream or website usage information, and emails that you open, forward or click-through to our Services.
If you use a location-enabled Unetwork service, we may collect and process information about your actual location (for example, GPS signals sent by your mobile device). We may also use a range of different technologies to confirm your location.

You are not anonymous to us when you log into the Unetwork wesite. Your user ID and all the material that you post is visible to other Unetwork employees.
Unetwork does not in any way control, and does not accept any responsibility or liability whatsoever for, the disclosure or use of personal data which is voluntarily posted by you in a publicly accessible area of the Services.
- How We Use Your Personal Data
Unetwork may use the information we collect for the following purposes:
Identification and authentication
Legal ground(s) for use: We need to perform this function in order to allow you to access the services.
To protect Unetwork and the users of the Services
Legal ground(s) for use: It is in our (and users) legitimate interests to ensure that our Services is secure.
To customise the content and any advertising displayed on the Services and permit content on the Services (such as postings or third party advertisements) to be targeted, on an aggregate basis, to the users for whom it is most likely to be relevant
Legal ground(s) for use: It is in our legitimate interest to provide you with content and advertisements that are tailored to your interests.
To improve our services and develop new service features
Legal ground(s) for use: We need some of your personal data in order to provide the services to you; it is in our legitimate interests to provide you the best possible services.
To provide, maintain and protect our Services and to verify the identity of authorised users of the Services.
Legal ground(s) for use: We need to perform this function in order to provide a safe and secure environment for our users and we have legitimate interests in protecting the integrity of the Services we offer.
Providing your information to a user with whom you have or had a contract facilitated by Unetwork
Legal ground(s) for use: We need to use your personal data in this way to provide the services you request.
As required by law, order of a court, tribunal or regulator or if Unetwork reasonably believes that the use or disclosure of the information is reasonably necessary for enforcement related activities
Legal ground(s) for use: On such occasions, we are required by law to process your personal data.
To ensure that Unetwork receives payment of the fees due to it
Legal ground(s) for use: We need to use your personal data in this way to fulfil a contract between you and us.
To contact you to inform you about promotions or upcoming changes or improvements to our services
Legal ground(s) for use: We only contact you for marketing purposes with your consent; we may contact you regarding changes in our services because it is in our legitimate interests to keep you informed about service changes that may affect you. See section below for further detail about marketing.
To contact you to administer our User Agreement:
Legal ground(s) for use: for example, we may notify you of a breach, or action a request for a take down notice in response to a claim of copyright infringement.**
To conduct research
Legal ground(s) for use: It is in our legitimate interests to improve the platform through user questionnaires and feedback requests via the platform.
To expand our user base
Legal ground(s) for use: It is in our legitimate interest to inform potential users about the Services we offer.
To develop our relationships with affiliate service providers and provide or arrange internal or external verification services obtained by you via the Services
Legal ground(s) for use: It is in our legitimate interests to engage service providers and verification services.
To generate data reports on an aggregated, non-personally identifiable basis, for both internal and third party use, but subject to any applicable laws (for example, we may show advertisers or investors trends relating to the general use of Unetwork’s services); and
Legal ground(s) for use: It is in our legitimate interests (and the interests of our partners and affiliates) to understand how you and other users engage with our services.
Your contact information may also be used for accounting, invoicing and billing purposes, marketing purposes, by third party service providers to Unetwork, and to respond to any enquiry you make
Legal ground(s) for use: It is in our legitimate interests to engage service providers to assist us in delivering the services you request.
When you contact Unetwork, we may keep a record of the communication(s) between you and Unetwork to help resolve any issues you might have.
Legal ground(s) for use: We retain information when we are required to do so by law and because it is in our legitimate interests to protect our legal rights.
If other user(s) of the Services already have your userID (or other information identifying you), and you have chosen to upload a photo or other personal information to your Unetwork account, we may show those user(s) that personal information; and
Legal ground(s) for use: We display your photo to other users who have your userID only with your consent, which you supply by uploading your photo.
Our Services allow you to review your experience dealing with others on the Services, who may in turn leave reviews about you. We compile these reviews to provide an aggregate rating for each user, which will publicly appear along with your profile. Please be aware that others users may rely on this rating when deciding whether to engage with you.
- Cookies and Similar Technologies
Unetwork uses cookies and similar tracking technologies for a number of purposes including to access your information when you sign in, keep track of your preferences, direct specific content to you, report on Unetwork’s user base, and to improve Unetwork’s services. We also use cookies or anonymous identifiers when you interact with our affiliate service providers (for example, when you integrate your Unetwork account with your Facebook profile).
We use the following types of cookies and similar technologies:
Strictly Necessary Cookies
We use cookies and similar technologies that are necessary to the operation of our Services. This includes technologies that allow you access to our website, services, mobile app or that are required to identify irregular site behaviour, prevent fraudulent activity and improve security, or that allow you to make use of our functions such as saved search or similar functions;
If you change the settings on your internet browser to block or restrict cookies (including cookies associated with Unetwork’s services), or to indicate when a cookie is being set by Unetwork, the Unetwork Services may not work as intended. You should remember that, while you may still be able to use the Services if your cookies are disabled, our services may not function properly on your device and you may not be able to take advantage of certain Unetwork features.
Functionality Cookies
We use cookies and similar technologies that allow us to offer you enhanced functionality when accessing or using our Services. This may include identifying you when you sign into our website, keeping you signed in as you browse or keeping track of your specified preferences, interests, or past items viewed so that we may enhance the presentation of content on our website and mobile app.
Performance Analytics Cookies
We use cookies and similar technologies to assess the performance of our Services. We use this information to analyse and help us understand how you and other visitors use our Services so we can improve the content or layout of our Services. We also use this information to track the number of our visitors and analyse the popularity of the features we offer.
Advertising Cookies
We may use first-party or third-party cookies and similar technologies to deliver content, including ads relevant to your interests. This includes using technologies to understand the usefulness to you of the advertisements and content that has been delivered to you, such as whether you have clicked on an advertisement.
Browser and System Controls
You may set your browser or operating system to limit certain tracking or to decline cookies, but you may not be able to use certain features on the Services which require such cookies. Each browser and operating system is a little different, so please check your browser or operating system’s settings or help section to learn more about how to delete or disable cookies and tracking.

- How We Share Your Personal Data
Unetwork may disclose the information We collect from you as follows:
- Unetwork Affiliates. We may share your personal data with our affiliated companies.
- Service Providers. We share your personal data with third party service providers that provide business, verification, professional or technical support functions for us, help us operate our business and the services, or administer activities on our behalf.
- Other Third Parties. We may share your personal data with other third parties who participate in Unetwork marketing initiatives, as authorised by you, and with consultants, advisors and analytics providers as necessary to measure and improve the services we provide to you.
- Legal Matters & Safety. We may share your personal data to respond to judicial process or provide information to law enforcement or regulatory agencies or in connection with an investigation on matters related to public safety, as permitted or required by law. We may also share your personal data if we believe there has been a violation of our terms, our rights, or the rights of any third party.
- Sale or Transfer of Business or Assets. In the event that we, or any of our businesses, are sold or disposed of, whether by merger, sale of assets or otherwise, or in the event of insolvency, bankruptcy or receivership, your personal data may be one of the assets sold or merged in connection with the transaction.
Your account is protected by a password for your privacy and security. We will take all reasonable steps to protect the information we hold about you from unauthorized access, use and disclosure, however we cannot guarantee the absolute security of that information, or that our systems will be completely free from third party interception or are incorruptible from viruses. We cannot and do not guarantee that information you send from your computer to us over the Internet will be protected by any form of encryption (encoding software). In light of this, we cannot and do not ensure or warrant the security or privacy of your personal information, including payment and account details. You transmit your personal information to us at your own risk. You are entirely responsible for maintaining the security of your passwords and/or account information.
- Third Parties
The Services may contain links to third party websites including the networks of our valued affiliate service providers, advertisers, and PayPal, or make available services obtained from third parties, including verification services by third party verification providers. If you follow a link to any of these websites, for instance PayPal payment system, or use any services obtained from third party service providers via the Services that requires you to provide personal data directly to such third parties (for instance third party verification providers), note that they have their own privacy policies. If you use our Services to link to another site, or use a service obtained from a third party service provider via the Services, you will be subject to that site’s or third party’s terms and conditions of use, privacy policy and security statement. We strongly encourage you to view these before disclosing any of your personal information on such sites.Unetwork does not control, and does not accept any responsibility or liability for, the privacy policy of, and use of personal information by, any party other than Unetwork, including any user of the Site, the operators of any website to which the Site links, or third party service providers to whom you directly provide your personal information (including sensitive information if relevant) to.
- Marketing
When you register on the Services you may receiving updates on our latest services, news and special offers, and those of our valued affiliate service providers (“Marketing Material”), via your Unetwork account, personal e-mail address, post or telephone. If you conclude a transaction on the Services, you may also be given the opportunity to opt- in to receive Marketing Material from Unetwork and our valued affiliate service providers. If you no longer consent to receiving Marketing Material then you must let Unetwork team know and they will close down your account.
Unetwork may contact you as the result of a referral by another user of the Services who has provided us with contact information, such as your name and email address. The use of contact information received in connection with a referral will be governed by this Privacy Policy. You may, at any time, opt-out of Unetwork’s referral system by emailing Unetwork using the contact information provided on the Services.
- Administrative Communications
Unetwork reserves the right to send you administrative and account-related messages even if you opt out of receiving marketing communications. If you close down your Unetwork account, we will cease all communications to you.
- Your Rights and Choices
We will allow you, at any time, to access, edit, update, restrict processing and/ or delete the personal data that we hold about you or to receive a copy of it in a digital format by contacting us here. Where we process your personal data with your consent, you may withdraw it at any time. You also have a right to object to processing based on legitimate interests or These rights may be limited in some circumstances, for example, if:
- We are legally permitted or required to deny you access to, and/ or to retain, the information because we are subject to a legal requirement or have a compelling legitimate interest; or
- You make a request that is unreasonably repetitive, requires Unetwork to make a disproportionate effort, risks the privacy of others, or there are other valid reasons why we cannot comply.
We need to prevent information in our systems from being accidentally or maliciously destroyed. This means that, where you delete information from our services, residual copies of that information on our active servers, as well as any corresponding information on our back-up systems, may not be immediately deleted.

Retention
We retain your personal data for as long as is necessary and for as long as may be necessary in light of our legal obligations or in order to allow us to pursue, defend or exercise legal claims. Is your duty and responsibility to let us know and express your desire of have your personal information deleted from our data base.

- Australian Privacy Terms
If You are a User who has Your Unetwork Platform:
- a reference to ‘personal data’ shall also mean ‘personal information’ as defined in the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth);
- a reference to ‘sensitive information’ has the same meaning given to it in the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth); and
- if we collect, use or disclose any information from you in accordance with this Privacy Policy that is also sensitive information (such as information relating to police checks conducted on users), then we will seek consent directly from you each time we collect, use or disclose your sensitive information, including for direct marketing purposes. We will not use or disclose your sensitive information for any other purpose unless the purpose is directly related to the primary purpose for which your sensitive information was collected.
